Does email marketing still work?

Periodically, the question of email marketing comes up, and many people ask how something as old and outdated as email can still work.

But the fact is that email is still the best way to engage your audience, based on numbers.

You can use other methods to reach new audiences, but email is the best way to build a relationship. And there's no sign of it diminishing.

However, the way we do email marketing is changing. In the early days of email marketing, it was all about sending as many emails as possible to as many people as possible and hoping that some would take the bait.

But even that was refined, due to the way email systems like Gmail and corporate servers handle spam. Technology began to make engagement measurement more and more accurate. If a provider sends a lot of emails that are not read or opened, their emails are automatically marked as spam and never reach the inbox. Therefore, email providers started to become more and more strict with policies for their users - something the users themselves benefited from. Now it became important to have interesting content and not just promotion in your emails.

Today, it's changing and becoming even more refined.
